‘Johnny’ by Johnny Johnny & the Johnny’s

This is Johnny’s debut album. It’s made out of 11 tracks. The songwriting process started in 2020 for about 1 year; then the recording, editing and mixing part took another year. The base tracks were recorded at Johnny’s ‘Why Studio’ while the drum parts were recorded at Joel’s ‘Pear Island Studios’. Joel Cain did a great job on the whole record, not only recording but co-producing, mixing and mastering. He is a natural talent that people should know about (projects like beach towels, shade shelter, feel estate and more). Brad Gibbons (alias Sir Quilt) did a great job on the guitar parts for ‘Fishes to Sing’, who is also Joel’s friend (and partner in crime on their projects).
There is a lot of ‘Tape’ sound, looking to get a vintage touch with modern songs. Some tracks are more psychedelic-esque, other straight upbeat, other time passages, other more indie-tronic. We will be working on doing alternate ‘remix’ versions of some songs after the album is out.

To transfer sensation and stimulation is what it is about. Johnny had literally the most epic time doing this record which we think it shows.
